Four images explore his current state of identity as he comes to terms with a late diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome, and a second set of four images alternately show his development throughout childhood, unaware, just like his family members, that he fit on the autism spectrum.
All prints were developed from tri-x 400 35mm film in a wet darkroom, using Rockland's Liquid Light Emulsion. All images are printed on varnished white pine. The younger childhood images were re-photographed with a copystand using old family photographs, while the late teenage year portraits were re-photographed with a copystand from images my brother posted of himself on facebook.
